How to get PVC Aadhaar Card Online for Single Phone Number in Family – The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has introduced the PVC Aadhaar card for all family members using a single mobile phone number. This facility is very helpful in generating OTP for online authentication by any mobile phone number.  However, the UIDAI has clarified that the users will have to pay Rs 50 for each PVC Aadhaar card order.

“You can use any mobile number to receive OTP for authentication, regardless of the registered mobile number with your Aadhaar. So, one person can order Aadhaar PVC cards online for the whole family,” the UIDAI said in the order. In the tweet, the UIDAI also shared direct link for online authentication without using a registered mobile number — myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricPVC.

What is  PVC Aadhaar Card?

The PVC Aadhaar Card is digitally signed secure QR code with photograph and demographic details with multiple security features. The Aadhaar PVC Card can be ordered online through uidai.gov.in or resident.uidai.gov.in using Aadhaar number, Virtual ID or Enrolment ID. Users can do so by paying a nominal charge of Rs 50. Moreover, the Aadhaar PVC Card is delivered to the resident’s address by speed post.

How to order PVC Aadhaar card online ?

• Login at direct UIDAI link — myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricPVC;
• Enter Aadhaar number;
• Enter CAPTCHA;
• Click at ‘Send OTP’ option;
• Enter OTP and click on the check box against “Terms and Conditions”;
• Click on “Submit” button to complete OTP verification;
• Now preview of the Aadhaar details will be available on your computer monitor;
• Click on “Make payment”;
• You will be re-directed to Payment Gateway page with payment options as Credit/Debit Card, Net banking and UPI;
• After successful payment, receipt will get generated having digital signature which can be downloaded by resident in PDF format.
• Residents will also get the Service Request Number via SMS that one can use to check one’s PVC Aadhaar card delivery status.
