Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka Resigns

In a dramatic move Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka, who had joined Infosys three years ago in 2014 from SAP has put down his paper and resigned. He said that he is resigning from Infosys on the account of rising personal disruptions as founder Narayana Murthy’s attacks on the company management over corporate governance continue to grow. 

Company’s board questioned founder and former CEO of the company N.R. Narayana Murthy’s allegations against Vishal Sikka. In a fresh BSE filing, the Board said Murthy’s baseless allegations was what drove Sikka to resign as the CEO of the company. 

U B Pravin Rao has been given the interim responsibility for both the posts , India’s second largest software services exporter.
