German politicians question Russia gas project after Navalny suspected poisoning

Chancellor Angela Merkel on Sunday faced growing pressure to reconsider Germany’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline project with Russia following the suspected poisoning of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny. Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said suspicion would fall on Russia if it failed to help resolve the matter.
